A tutorial on BioUML programming will be conducted in geneXplain GmbH office (Am Exer 10, Wolfenbüttel, Germany) on March 11, 2014 (starting at 9:00am). The following topics will be covered:

• Introduction into structure of BioUML environment. Different data objects and collections.
• Structure of the installation of geneXplain platform.
• Creation of workflows in geneXplain platform.
• Scripting in geneXplain platform using JavaScript and R.
• Introduction of new analysis methods through Galaxy
• Creation of plug-ins in Java for new analysis methods
• Creation of plug-ins for new databases, database updating.
• Server installation, server and user administration
